Luis Oliart & The Hinges have just released a nine track EP, Luis Oliart & The Hinges at Seahorse Sound.
As a songwriter, Luis Oliart is known for his soulful, bluesy, groove laden originals and the band includes true legends of funk-soul music: Fishbone founders,

Chuck Boogie” Moore and guitar star, Jay O'Keefe.
Oliart has entertained audiences at venues throughout the world, including, BB KIng’s, CBGB, Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues, Key Club, Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Troubadour and, yes, Carnegie Hall.
The long list of credits for Norwood Fisher and John Steward include world tours with George Clinton and The Beastie Boys. They have been a major part of so many musical adventures that Fishbone was the subject of a multi-award winning documentary; Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone.
Charles ‘Chuck Boogie’ Moore has performed with The Pharcyde, Digable Planets, Digital Underground, DJ Quik, Syl Johnson, Fred Wesley, Bootsie Collins, Norwood Fischer and Trulio Disgracious, and Breakestra.
This new release, Luis Oliart & The Hinges at Seahorse Sound, showcases the band’s
unique funk-soul-blues groove that’s been energizing crowds throughout southern California. Plus, a virtuoso, instrumental rendition of “Dear Prudence!”
