iTunes Introduces Artist Images for Artists and their Music
iTunes has just announced that photos for artists and their music can now be added to the iTunes Store for customers to enjoy. To enhance the browsing and shopping experience, these photos will appear throughout the iTunes Store wherever artists and their music are shown, as well as in customers’ iTunes library for the artists music that they own.
You'll be able to have one photo to represent your artist, and an unlimited number of gallery photos. Gallery photos can be grouped by time period, theme, photo shoot, awards shows, or any other criteria. You can also provide headers for your galleries—which can be localized—to show where the gallery photos were taken, the copyright information, and more.
Artists names will need to be claimed via your iTunes Delivery Person and/or through your own iTunes Connect account where users can be assigned to manage and upload your artist photos.
For more information on how Digital Music Marketing can help you with Artist Images on iTunes, Amazon MP3, eMusic, Google Play and more, please email info@digitalmusicmarketing.com.
